Swansea are proud to be one of the leading hockey clubs in Wales. We were formed in 1920, and have gone through a number of transformations to be the club we are today.

Swansea Hockey Club enjoys a high profile throughout the national and local media. With our men's 1st team in the Premier West Division and ladies' 1st team in the West Womens Premier League.

Swansea Hockey Club runs 5 men’s teams, 4 ladies' teams and has a flourishing junior section.

We have international players ranging from U16's to full internationals, plus a number of veterans/masters, all playing for their countries.

Through our relationship with Swansea University, Sport Swansea and Swansea Bay Sports Park we have privileged access to two water based Olympic quality pitches at our club and great support services. These pitches, along with the on site changing rooms and Cafe providing hot teas are our home facilities.

MISSION STATEMENT

Swansea Hockey Club exists to play hockey for the purposes of recreation, enjoyment and promotion of fitness and well-being for all members of the community.
It is our intention to advance the achievement of excellence from junior to international level and to secure and maintain the position of the Club as a leading member of the hockey family in both the U.K. and Europe.
In order to achieve an ongoing commitment to hockey success at all levels, links with our local community and schools should be developed and sustained.

Swansea Hockey Club aspires to be a thriving hockey hub, supporting playing, coaching and officiating activities for all levels and ages.
The club looks to build relationships with local schools and the wider community to promote participation in hockey.
